Overview: Change can occur any time, and frankly, should be a regular occurrence in any organization. In fact, nearly every organization goes through change regularly - both internal (changes in processes and procedures, new products and services, a new market, etc.) and externally (new competition, changes in the industry, loss of customers, etc.) It is, however, common to believe that change only occurs when there are problems to be solved. Too often organizations tend to react to problems that occur, therefore causing the belief that change only occurs when there is a problem that needs to be solved. Change is, essentially, making something different. It does not have to be a major difference; it could be a small, incremental difference.
Every business goes through change. Change is necessary and provides organizations opportunities for growth, improved competition and innovation. Even though change is constant, it can be stressful for nearly everyone in the organization. Change is an emotional experience and is often a "roller coaster" ride of emotions as the change is being implemented throughout the organization. Change may come from new divisions being launched within the business, a significant number of new hires into the business, launch of new products or services or no longer offering specific products or services, leadership changing, competitive threats that require immediate action or through mergers and acquisitions.
This webinar is targeted for employees who do not lead change initiatives but must be involved in change initiatives led by others. This webinar provides best practices for championing and supporting change efforts within the organization, as well as engaging others in change by helping them to see the value of change; regardless of the size of the change initiative.
Why should you attend: The biggest challenge for individuals in many organizations is how to effectively champion and support change initiatives. They need to support what is happening within their department/business unit and the organization as a whole, but should also work to ensure that those around them are supportive of the change effort being undertaken. Additionally, at times individuals within the organization may be playing a number of roles - they may be leading a change effort, supporting a change effort or some combination of both! It is the responsibility of the entire organization - not just the leadership team - to support and champion change initiatives and engages others to do the same.

Gina Abudi, MBA has 20+ years’ of experience in helping global organizations develop and
implement strategy around projects, processes and people. This includes both consulting as well
as training at global organizations. Gina is President of Abudi Consulting Group, LLC and an
adjunct faculty member at Granite State College (NH) teaching in both the Masters of Project
Management and Masters of Leadership graduate degree programs.
Gina writes a number of white papers, case studies, and articles on various management and
project management topics, which can be found on her blog: GinaAbudi.com. She is lead author
